Actually this depends upon your learning skills. If you learn things fast than you would take a short time period to learn it all but if you take time to understand and learn things than it would definitely take some time, but you should keep practicing until you dont have very good trading skills, confidence and maturity, dont do it hurry, learn everything step by step.

I have learned the basics of forex trading in a demo account from one of my friends and went straight to real trading with a small $100 deposit. And i dont believe that Demo is suitable for learning purposes because you ignore your emotion easily, in my opinion its designed to test strategies EA etc not to learn how to make profit. A big difference between a demo and real account is the emotion factor which is the most important factor to decide the fate of a newcomer in this business.

हमें लगता है कि डेमो अकाउंट में तब तक समय देना चाहिए जब तक कि आप पूरी तरीके से सीखना ले घंटा दो घंटा से अब शायद उतना नहीं सीख पाएगा क्योंकि डेमो अकाउंटेंट रियल अकाउंट से बिल्कुल मिलता जुलता है लेकिन अंतर यह है डैम अकाउंट में उसका पैसा जो है वह नकली है बाकी सारी चीजें उसमें भी अब रियल रियल मार्केट में होती है तो आप दिन अकाउंट में जितना ज्यादा आप समय दीजिएगा आप वास्तव में मार्केट के विषय में भी आप सही तरीके से आप सीख पाइएगा तो समय की बात है जहां तक प्रश्न है तब तक समय दीजिए जब तक आप पूरी तरीके से विषयों के ऊपर अच्छी तरीके से सीखना तत्व का आपस में समय दीजिए

Bhai apne thik kaha hai agar hum 1 ya 2 hours spend kar rahe hai to ye kafi nahi hoga bha, demo account par time dekar count nahi karna chahiye, balki tab tak trading practice karte rahna chahiye jab tak perfect nahi ho jate hai bhai.
