How much time we should spend in demo before going to live trading?

Need more than 6/8 month spend. because if we live trade without more demo trade, possibility to increase lose. So we need to more demo trade before going to start real trade.

it depends how fast you are picking up the skills and how quickly you are learning the new strategies that can make you an experienced and a successful trader

it varies trader to trader. if you are a new trader you must work on the demo account more then a month but if you not understand the trading clearly you have to stay more time and again if you understand the trading clearly you have to need a very few days.

yes we have to keep on learn new things and improve our self our skills to master ourself in forex world. but even though they trade well in demo some fail to perform in live account as they get nervous.

Studying a single strategy, and revising it as you go along, is a life-long process. If you spend your time to learn new things, then you won't have time to improve yourself. You may have vast knowledge, but you won't have the ability to capitalize on them.

i do it for about 6 months but many recommendation from senior traders that we must learn in demo account for 1 years until we have a good skill and find the best strategy in trading before trade in real account because in there we must control emotions.

I have seen on one famous Forex trading learning website that one must least do trading on Demo account for 6 months.
But i have done only one month of Demo trading, may be that is why i am not making much profits. But still i feel trading on Demo account too many days will not be good as the real learning is in Real account.
