How much time we should spend in demo before going to live trading?

I was just practicing on a demo for a month, then open a real account. but until now I still test the trading system with a demo account. so i have and exist in the demo and real accounts

In my view forex is risky business around the world so trader should learn properly before start trading at live trading. I consider that trader can provide minimum 2 month as full time for gain more knowledge about forex in demo trading. Happy trading

I think, there is no fixed time specified anywhere for spending in demo account and it is up to a trader and when he is confident and has learned some indicators and practiced their trading style and also back tested their strategy and make regular profits then they can start to trade from real account. So that is better.

The truth is that newbies need to work very hard as you said. This is business and to succeed in it, newbies will need to change their thinking towards it and this will enable them to have better results. Hard work is the first secret to survive in forex trading. As long as you are working hard, you will make it.

the people say that we should not use the demo trading so much. Because demo trading is only demo trading, when we trade real, the fact is so difficult and defferent. When we trade demo, we don't have any psychology or stress, but the real trade ins opposite, therefore my advice for you is only trade demo in a weeks.

i think if we got the confidence and tested our strategy on demo and got a good result then we should test that result for at least 2 months then we can think about real trading ..real trading and demo trading have lots of difference so we need to got the confidence first .

well demo is the best platform to get knowledge and experience and its realy helps the traders and i think all the trades should join demo and get experience and do demo trading at least for one year . and then you will join the real account .
