How much time we should spend in demo before going to live trading?

actually 3 month time spend in demo account because a trader if he work 3 month spend time regularly he then i think he is now an expart trader. then he will take good profit.

yes i want to know how long because i am still in the demo trading for the past one month but the problem is i dont practice that much because of my work

that is trick question. i believe that amount of time wont say you are ready for live trading or not. try to make a succesful trading plan and imply it to see the results. that might give you confidence and hope..

When a trader does not feel that he is competent enough to trade in real account, he should continue trading in demo account..it is good if one continues demo trading for one to two months with proper study about Forex,i traded one month in demo before opening real account

hi friend this is really good question to ask and many new members always search answer of this question and my answer is we have in demo trading till we did not know completely about forex. when we have proper knowledge about forex then we have in real account.

in my own opinion the amount of time to spend demo trading is purely individualistic,it also depends on the level of our success why demo trading,but on the average 3 months is ideal

I suggest a new trader to trade in demo account for about two months.In this time, he can also write posts on forum.But he should not open real account.He should learn a lot about trading.He should practice in demo until he is able to know how to prevent loss.He should practice to control greed during opening positions and also to control fear in loss.he should try to check his emotions in any situation even in profit.When he will be expert in demo (this time may be 1,2 or4 months), he should enter real trading.

You should spend much time in demo trading if you are beginner traders.
But it varies from traders to traders.
According to me you should do demo trading at least 6 months.

yeah depend by trader how long to learn in demo accounts,
if we more serious and keep motivated, i think we would not be long in demo accounts.
some trader suggest a novice trader to learn in demo account about 3 months, but many trader never do that.
