How much time we should spend in demo before going to live trading?

I'm staying on demo accounts for 3 months, then I opened a real account. but until now I still test the trading system with the demo account. so what's working well in a demo account is going to be any real profits in real accounts

I agee with you on the first two points and that is basically what i've said in my post ,but in the third point i dont't think so and i dont't believe in it because i began my trading experience without using demo accounts instead i used accounts with small deposit of money or cent accounts,i lost all that money but it helped me learn the real trading that is trading with emotions considered

Demo account trading is very necessary for newbies to learn and make exprience in forex trading. I think to master it, traders should give it 6 months at least. because forex contains many skills to practice so i think it must be long time for traders to use demo account.

Every newbie trader should trade in demo account. But it depends on individual person. Some people go for real trade after 6 months some still trade when they are 2 yearns in market. But I think the best way when you can make continuous profit and it would be about 200% to 300% of your demo amount. And when you really think you will be able to make continuous profit.
