well in my opinion its not the capital that is important its the way of trading one indulges in that will decide his/her fate. A capital no matter how big it is will be blown away if the trader doesnt have good trading plan or skills. on the other hand even a small capital of $100 can accumulated and grow into a big capital if a trader has the right techniques and trading skills

amount really plays an important role.. look you can trade with small amount with helpp of high margin but issue it with slight change in market you can lose you money because of high leverage.. for a safer side you can have good amount so that you can stay in market for long time so that once market rises as you predicted you can still be there to make you profit... Sufficient capital is also needed in trade in the forex market to make it easier to trade. because if we trade with capital that is too small then it will be difficult for us as trade.

Having good capital can be a additional advantage but having good trading strategy is more important then anything else. Large capital can provide you easiness and strength to survive in most of the market situations but it doesn't guarantee the consistency and profitability. With larger capital you can make high volume trades. On other hand; with small capital it is really difficult to survive in many conditions but with good knowledge and risk management a trader can easily manage the situation.
