Using Bonus for investing.

I have a thought in my mind, that instead of trading daily or short term, would not it be wise to invest the bonus in precious metals like gold and silver at these levels for long term. Yeh we should not use higher leverage for that but i think 1:5 leverage would be most safe.

And by doing this we can expect 5 times the profit due to long term price appreciation.

What you need to know about leverages is that leverage has nothing to do with the profit that you make but high leverage enables you to take risk and still stay in the trade without getting stoped out early. So if i can advise you, you have to use 1:1000 as your leverage.

I like to do the tradings with bonus money to take some big risks and to take some less risks so to see the market what happened to us. but there is also some money in my real account which i use to do the real trades.

I do not agree with this, you should invest your bonus in any kind of security even in Gold too. If you always intend to play safe and do not be aggressive and do not take risk you can not earn a big return you can only earn a moderate return on your investment for this purpose you have to be risk taker and aggressive, even invest your bonus highly risky long term securities like gold. So if you think that it is not good to invest bonus in gold like securities then it will not be a good idea.
