i think for a beginner you can trade with pairs which you feel comfortable as no currency pairs are volatile all the time but trading lotsize of 0.01 will be very low risk of trading, it is always advised to start with less capital and trade in small lot size. I think any amount between 50$ - 100 $ is ideal for a newbie to start with.

For the Starting I will recommend only the 100$. Because with the 100$ ..the one can not only the check all the issues but the one can also get the all types of the parameters of the FOREX and can check that the his strategy or good or bad..

Here a big question for beginner that what is starting investment
in which field they invest means ero usd etc
and which currency they trade and minimum lot volume etc .its very useful

For beginner, I strongly suggest they should open a cent account after being in a demo account for sometime, one should practice trading in demo account with its strategy and then apply in the live markets, I think by opening a cent account a trader can have enough experience and then can go to big accounts like 1000$, Experienced trader are valued.
