1:1000 leverage is it really worth using?

I think 1:1000 leverage is very dangerous. I all time prefer 1:500. 1:1000 leverage is perfect for good trader.But is not good beginning trader. If you chose no risk no gain then you will start 1:1000.

I think it's very profitable, do not waste it if brokers offered leverage up to 1:1000. Lot size matters more than leverage, if you control your lot size used in trading then it does not matter how much leverage there is. high leverage give you more margin. and if you want to reduce risk you can use low lot.

I cannot understand why some people using 1:1000$ leverage while your account become more risky due to this. Look in a cents account you buy .1 lot for 17 cents capital and as 10 pips is spread you enter into 10 cents loss .. now if prices move down 7 pips your account get burst and if prices move up by 10 pips you dont earn and it is from 11th pip onlward that you start earning.

you have to know about it, there set the leverage becasue they want to get a good margin for their trading and if some trader set with 1 : 1000 and it means that they need good margin to hold the floating minus and because many factors for it, and for me, i set it with 1 : 1000 because i had less capital in my balance..

The leverage you given(1:1000) is really risky.But some people like to take risk in business.For this its may be a cause that one time he got a lot of profit after after taking this kind of risk.For this reason to get a lot of profit they take risk.But personally advice not to take this kind of risk..

such type of leaverage is only utilised on the basis of experience. if you are experience in forex trading, then it worth it, if you are not then choose a lower one.

In my experience 1:1000 leverage is really worth using but most of the traders will not agree with this statement. I believe high leverages are not bad unless you don't know about it like when, how and where to use it. If you have sound knowledge of money management and risk management alongwith patience then you may understand and accept that how 1:1000 leverage is beneficial.

I'm using 1:1000 leverage from my beginning of trading and I find it's more useful for choosing desired lot size. Because I do not just decide my lot size just with leverage, rather I will go higher lot size only if my risk level is small. So based on risk only I choose my lot size and based om leverage.
