1:1000 leverage is it really worth using?

It is a very risky leverage can make you much profit as soon as you can lose all the money. In my opinion an average leverage 1:500 or 1:200 is fine. It will help to position the back more. But the risk is not very high but in general the leverage is a two hand weapon.

if trade goes against your expectations you dont loose much and so i use a leverage that is less than 100. Often 50 only or lesser, and so i hardly loose even if i am chasing trend due to any reason.

1:1000 is too large and risky. if we trade with having higher leverage we tend to take high risk by trading with large lot sizes. at the initial stage it is not suitable to use this much of leverage. but if we have a good trading strategy with more trading experience and money management skills it is suitable to have this amount as leverage.

well I am using 1:1000 and I am very, close to margin call and I am just on a resistance point so I just, hope prices can go up so without this leverage I could not, have survived now. so just there is chance so this is where leverage is. important and I am happy with this leverage...

I think for 100$ 1:200 leverage is enough.It's better to trade without leverage.Those who want to use leverage he should select a comfortable leverage for his balance with proper analysis.Leverage only helps us to open big position or you can say help us to take high risk. The chooice is yours.

As we all know that high leverage is dangerous for our trading account because if we have a leverage of 1:1000 than we may make a big lot size order and that may give us big loss so i think we need to prefer a low leverage in forex trading business and become safe.
