Reason for stop loss if you know price will return after some time?

As much i understand intention to use a stop loss with long trade is that we expect that breaking that level will show further lower levels and we shall get opportunity to buy on those levels. Is there any other reason in your view?

Agar mujhey kiya yeh agar kisi bhi traders ko malum hota toh woh kabhi stop loss ka use nehi karte.Kyo ki aisa hay ke hum agar 20 pips me stop loss use kare toh market kabhi 20 pips jakar phir upar ja sakta hay toh us waqt sl se hummein lose ho sakta hay.

Agar mujhey pata hota ke mera sell diya huwa trade ka price upar jake lose deta hay aur badmein phir nichey akar mera lose ko cover kar dega toh main stop loss use nehi karta.lekin agar woh nichey ane ke siway aur bhi upar gaya toh mere liye stop loss bohot accha rahega.

Main reason comes of making a stop loss because of the uncertainty of the market as nobody is sure about the market next movement and only can guess,thus there should be a protective measure to save the trading account.

Of course having a stop loss will add safety measure to our trades and by the grace of stop we shall not loose more than specified amount by the stop loss. We would feel deceived by the market if after hitting stop loss prices rises above our buying price, so in my view we should ensure that stop loss is set at such a level which if broken will change the traders sentiments and expecting a sharp decline in prices so we can buy that instrument on lower level.

Everybody really never want to use stop loss so i also always think that price will return soon or prices will touch my stop loss and return back.If markets reverse more but that does not mean that traders should place stop losses too tight or close.

Markets do move in few **** in both the direction so the reason of putting stop loss is to avoid higher losses if markets reverse more but that does not mean that traders should place stop losses too tight or too close.

the stop loss is used to save the account from loss. i do not use this stop loss frequently. in the sense of loss stop loss is also one kind of loss. the account
have more equity and trade with small lot size, will not need to set stop loss.
