Right in my opinion, stop loss is a useful tool but sometimes in my experience I can close trades at a loss and trade can be profitable, using a stop loss like taking a loss, you are not confident with trading skills so you play it safe, but if you know what to do all the time with the right money management so I don't see the reason for stop loss. and Stop loss protects capital from sudden changes. Prices have oscillating movements but often have large movements that can cause a margin call. Traders should have no hope that prices will return. In my experience, prices have never returned, more likely to reach a margin call.

Yes, in my view, we mostly use stop loss, because we are not sure about market movement, if we are sure about market that market will return or turn into negative then we will not open orders, the main reason behind the stop loss is uncertainty of market. and Forex price can move anywhere , we just analyze and imagine then take a deal. But some time our analyze never work and market go to our negative. then How can we manage our loss? answer is STOP LOSS. its really good man , we can minimize our loss. we can take deal after some time in proper point. there is nothing sure about forex market movements and no one can say that market will move to that point and then reverses back,so stop loss is very too for us to manage our capital.. and in forex there are nothing certain. some time we find that all the indicator are giving signal for bullish market but the price gone down for a long pips in a few minutes or opposite also may happen. in such situation the stop loss will help us to close the trade in the stop loss level and we have not to face the big loss. when we think then we can just reopen the trade and can make big profit than before.
