For small accounts stop loss is much important. It prevents you from margin call and bankruptcy. But if you a big account then you can go without stop loss. The only purpose of stop loss is to prevent from big loss. It also happens many times that the price just touched the SL but you know SL aalso have many advantages as i mentioned.

if my broker allow hedging and hedging does not take margin, then I prefer the hedge instead of using a stop loss if I know the price will return after some time. and I also know when not hedging the possibility of my margin not enough to hold it. when prices really return, then I will close one of them which already profit or put a stop loss only in the profit area .
