this is completely right , you wouldn`t learn any thing without practicing . but in forex you should first practice on demo account for some weeks at least ,if you start trading on real and you think this is better ,then you will probably loose your account in some hours if you don`t have any idias about some basics like indicators or analysis .also don`t trade by big capital till you learn well

i agree, trade in demo is better than if we just read and read only. just practice in demo trading, after that we can practice in cent account and make better trading and it will teach us much more than just reading many books
