i place my stop loss order in a small place but i place my take profit in a far away distance because i always want to my profit to be much more than the stop loss order in the forex market trading business.it is good to use both stop loss order and take profit

Yes you are right I think sometimes we get hit only because of 3-5 pips and for that we need to set the stop loss at the right trading. My friend I think your strategy is good enough, and we need to trade with proper understanding of support and resistance area.
