Using Trailing Stops to Protect Profits.

yes assi, i use trailing stops only when the market is a bit quieter and there is no sudden spikes which can close your trade and continue in the direct the trade was intended to continue, missing profits you could have earned.

it is better to use trailing stop loss than using stop loss itself then the trader can lock their profit before the trend against the order and move back to give the trader floating minus,...i prefer to use trailing stop loss and and if not, i use hedging for my trading

yes, sudden spikes can take out the stops any time and make you quit the winning trade, in a slow trending market condition the stops do nt get triggered easily and will help in protecting earned profits as the price moves

yes,trailing stop should be used only in trending markets where the price movements are going in a same direction and not in market where it is ranging because the value of the trailing stop can get triggered easily.and it is never recommended for scalpers to use trailing stop.

I have to know about trailing stop a few days ago and I will use this option in my trades. I think trailing stop is a very good option to protect your profit. It is minimize your profit but protect you form loss.

No I don't used trailing stop to protect profits because I have not tried using it before in all my trades. I just set my target profit and if the market hit it then that's it I am done for the day.

the trailling stop is not good script for our deal because we can close the deal manually better than we make the profit and we dont get it i dont use the trailling stop at all and i dont think that the expert trader use it
