it is a nice key. because pairs fluctuation has no rule. some time any economic news can change market trend. then our profitable position become in loss. so in this moment trailing stop can help us. because then a profit already fixed. and no chance to loss position.

in my side, I did not really like to using trailing stop on my trading account, since for me trailing stop is only amke the profit which can we got be reduced, and minimum 15 pips is not the small profit for me

I think a trailing stop is more convenient when our analyses indicate the the currency pair are in a rally movement. This way we can get the most profit from a single trade, and I think swing traders use it more often for this reason.

i am using it because you know that in insta there is re-quotes problem and some time i need to close my position so frequently that insta gives me re-quotes so i use trailing stop for closing the position.

Yes it is a good idea to use trailing stop to protect profits but it can also kill your profits. If a trade is in good profit and then it retraces back to some point before going into huge profit and during the retrace if it takes out your trade then it can kill you huge gain. But it can also save if it runs the other way. So it depends on trader to decide.

It is clearly used in the long term trading purposes, all traders who are long term traders trade with this strategy of using trailing stop losses. If wrongly used, i believe that a forex trader can have losses because of it.

i generally use trailing stops only when the market is a bit quieter and there is no sudden spikes which can close your trade and continue in the direct the trade was intended to continue, missing profits you could have earned.
