I think that the trailing stop is a very good option that help the trader to lock some profit and avoid losing all the profit if the market bounced back but you should always put a suitable number because a lot of time the market bounce and hits the stop loss and get you out then it continue in his direction and you miss out a lot of profit.

Very true, if you have a winning trade, am belong to the school of thought where i strongly believe that you should not close it, let it run as far as it want to go but protect the profits by locking them in with a trailing stop, where you are lest assured of more profits than you already have on your winning trade, it takes patience and confidence to go along with this method of trading but it is very rewarding in the end of it all.
