yes I agree with you that it's hard to set a stop stop point,
and we have to put it for the sake of it,
but I think with good planning and analysis, we can stop losing that would be appropriate for the deal then we have to agree about where we get and then try to improve our stop loss strategy.

yes trailing stop is a good way to maximize profits. I often use it.
I can not be in front of the trading platform all the time
so I set the path to my winning position before leaving
the platform and many times give me a handsome advantage

yes I still use the trail stop but in some circumstances, actually trail stop is a good choice for trader if it can save your position as a profitable position,
I use trail stop whenever I trading for breakout or on news release because in this condition
very market movement fast if it does not have a trailing stop then maybe you can not close your position in big profits because in high volatility maybe your order is not running on time,

Trailing stop loss is good to chase profit when your Target Profit is more than 100 pips in single transaction. It can prevent loss when there is reversal movement instantly and usually trailing stop loss is used to gain extra pips of profit when current price almost reach on our TP and then we moved TP point in higher price. If the price has reached on our TP then we could move SL periodically with hope that the price could reach on 2nd TP.
