Why there is big spread in Gold?

I noticed that usually currency pairs have 2-3 pips spread but in gold it is biggest 10 pips, do you know why so. Bt i do love trading in gold despite this huge spread there is good opportunity to make profit.

Gold me big spread is liye hota hy ku k yeh her country ke economic sy relate karta hy jab be ko country new note bnati hy to us ke against wo apny pass utni maliyat ka gold rakhti hy glod ka use boaht jiyada hy meray idea k hisaab sy isi wajha sy iska spread big hota hy.

I think it's very fast movement of gold, so it is natural that the spread is also very wide. to perform the movement of 100 pips can be just a matter of seconds. for that, for the beginner is very risky trading with gold.

Yeh sahi bat hi ki gold trading me margin jyada lagta hai, lekin isse gold trading ka attraction kam nahi hota, pehle to acche fundamentals ke karan isme risk limited hai aur fir yadi aapke pas kam margin hai to cents account me bhi gold me trade kar sakte hain, jisme .1 micro lot open karne ke liye apko lagbhag 1.8$ ki jaroorat hai 1:100 leverage use karne par.

I do trade in gold and even though spread is 10 pips a bit higher than any other pair but i still find it worth as the movement is quite sharp and we can make up this spread in few moments often.

I thinks big spread to that pair which have large volatility as compared to other liquidity.We can quickly make profits on high volatile p[air so brokers give us large spread on that pair.

as gold prices tend to rise and people who know how to trade gold trading gold as well. usually they just buy and not sell. for a time the gold will go up and touch their TP. with this strategy, they tend to profit rather than loss

Gold is a precious metal and has a very high price so due to it high cost its spread is also high and we need comparatively more margin for trading gold as compared to currencies.

yes we need more margin inorder to trade gold and gold due to its high demand it has high spread and even it has high spread people will trade its the movement will be high but i dont wanna trade gold until i have good margin
