Why there is big spread in Gold?

in trading gold there's huge possibilities of getting huge profit,,,as it's movement is faster then currency pairs & likewise many most people do trade in gold,thus the broker set the gold spreads high as they simply earned from spreads;';

If we see a movement of gold in a while, you may think that you just buy gold and buy, because the graphics shown in the table above, but change the TF in the slightest, you see the same pattern as a coin. which also includes high and low. Or a very slow movement, but the long-term stability. cause this reason, many traders choose not to trade gold. rare coins / products for your business, which will increase the circulation. Yes wide spread not only happened with gold, but all currencies and commodities that have no active trading session.

its happen because the gold pairs have the big movement on some times, and more people trade on it for sure the broker want to have mroe income by add more big the spread on the big volatility pairs like the gold pairs

Yes many traders are trading with gold just because with it they have so many chance to earn a big amount but to trade with gold i think that with gold trading we need a big capital to get more profit with it but there are so many profit with it.

I think forex is a good job........You may think gold has high spread so it will be easy to make huge profits. You are wrong my friend. I have been back-testing Forex for some time and in systems such as MT4 the spread is fixed throughout the test period. This is not a big problem as the trading range is not too large and you can enter a typical value. with 10 which is 1 trick size in instaforex .so 10 trick is 100 pips which means change of 1$ for 0.01 volume in instaforex .and gold having huge investors all over the world

the spread in gold is not 10 pips but hundred pips and i wonder too why it is high unlike the eurusd that has very small spread but the movement is something else.

hi, i think there is big spread in gold as it have fast movement or because there is less traders that trading with gold so it has big spread while the pairs that are popular it has small spread.

i dont recognize why gold has big spread, however i are aware that there will be a great deal of traders prefer to trade with gold, these probably will make mauch profit fast than trading alternative currencies.
