20 pips is enough when the lot size is more than $1. so not, it is too much less for a trader. but i think for the new trader, 20 pips is enough initially. because at first time forex market is risky for the new trader. at that time they have a few knowledge about forex trading. so they should take little lot size and earn few pips in a day. but after acquiring good knowledge the new trader can earn more than 20 pips per day.

20 pips is too amount. may be it is good if the lot size more than 1 $ but what do you say if the trader use micro and earn only 2 dollars per day guess he must getting bored. its bit risky and you are in loss
