Do we need to watch our open positions to make sure we don't go to loss.

If a person can not sit in front of the system to see his trades open in the market he should always use stop loss and take profit in his trades. If he does not use stop loss or take profit in his trades, then i think he gambling and not trading.

I think it is hard for us to control our emotion if we watch our open positions. We just need to use stop loss and take profit point to keep our trades safe. Then we do not need to watch our open positions all the time anymore. We can leave our charts and do other things, but we still can keep our risk low by using stop loss

By watching market movement for sometime you can understand the market conditions and also know well where a particular pair is taking support and where it is getting resistance - if you know about a range well, it is then easy to enter profitable trades.

I agree with this, we must monitor the market and know the up s and downs on trading and must understand when to stop trading to avoid loss in every transaction.

I forgot to close my trade and very next day I did not get any chance to view my trade. And later when I got to my trade all my money was gone. If I had been there keeping constant eye upon the trade, perhaps I will not be broke. So what do you all do? When you have to go for any urgent jobs, would you leave the trade open?

Dear brother if you have urgent work or job to go out side then we should use stop loss option when we placing order in trading account. All the senior good traders are using stop loss option their every order because the use of stop loss is very useful for us to avoid risk and loss. When we lost our all capital we should prepare ourself freshly in the business with new planning and strategy with avoiding of risk.
