What is your perfect stop loss plan and take profit plan while trading?

personally in trading I usually set my stop loss point by amount of my personal risk that I can accept for loss. and for take profit I usually not set, because I will close my order when I get a signal from my strategy. in some conditions of the market, our strategy sometimes give a short signal and change in short time, so if we set forr take profit sometimes it doesn't reached and we should close our order manually before the market moves against our order direction.

i trade with out mentioning the stop loss but now i feel that its necessary to use the stop loss because on some occasion i loss huge amount due to not using the stop loss option but on the other side i earned so much with out using this option
