I usually use a stop loss of 50 pips if I am not sure from the market direction and set the take profit the same , the use and function but we do not get wrong in placing stop losses because sometimes we will always suffer losses

For me 20 pips lose per day is enough to set an alarm bell in my mind .i have to set stop loss of 20 pips per trade so that if i lose 20 pips it is easy for me to recover it back in my next trading .losing 60 pips is too big for me.
