Can fear be used to avoid the loss in trade?

I thought for the moment while ago when I was having serious loss in my trade. I was really not sure of my trade but also I made transactions, and in the end I ended up with loss. Then I thought that I was really afraid while making that trade. My fear was telling me to not to trade. But I ignored my fear and look what I got. I got loss. If I had listened to my fear, I would still be happy with my money.

Does anyone has suffered this type of dilemma? I really think sometimes our fear can save us from the loss. Is it right or it's just my mentality after the loss?

Forex trading is all about risk and reward,profit and loss ,the more the risk, the more the reward,forex is like a double edged sword,one side of the sword is risk and the other side of the sword is reward,that is why every experienced trader would need to always calculate their risk and reward ratio before entering positions . yes it's right fear it' self is very bad emotion then how it can be used to avoid losses in forex trading,fear most of the times leads to more loss than profit,so we can not use it to avoid losses in forex..

thats true, if you followed your feelings and didnt trade, you would of saved your money and didnt have any loss, but you should know that if every trader, followed your point of view, and didnt take the risk, nobody would of made any profits etc, so my advice for you, never give up from the first loss, and keep learning till you start making profits, and recover your loss and make further profits. good luck.

I think to control loss in forex trading is difficult but important, and you need to money management, If our capital is small, trade small lot size and slowly grow your capital. When our capital is big, then only increase our lot size.
