Scalping is short term trades which is done for the profits of few pips and the trades need to be closed within few minutes and should be done with proper stop loss.A trader performs many trades in a day and small profits when added up lead to huge amount.

ya every scalper close their trade for few pips and it is necessary to put stop loss in their trade. other ways if market change his trend suddenly they will face huge loss. basically in scalping style we close or trade only for few pips like 10 to 20 pips .
