Do you lock your profit in your trades?

Yeah most often i did that mistake that when there is a lot of profit done by me and then by not withdrawing my profit somehow
when i enter the new trade and then the market goes against me and then i have to wait for the market to unlock my profit
to make a withdrawal.

forex actually a trail stop limit. I did not try this yet but i think its good use this option in your trading because it will help you to save us from further loss, we will lose only few pips but overall will earn some pips so its a good thing.

The whole point of trading is to make money, and locking in profits is in synch with this line of thinking. While this sounds so elementary, the vast majority of traders are unable to do this on a consistent basis. We have all heard the excuses, the market is too flat, too volatile, my account is too small, my account is too large, etc.

dear friend in forex trading if you want to lock his profit then it is a trail stop limit, i have not used it before in my life of trading but i think it is a good thing for me and also for all traders,and further it helps us for all traders to save his profit and not bear many more loss during the trade,in this condition we also loss only few pips and its also affordable for us after some time we are also able to get some profit of pips during the trade.

yeah, i use trail stop to lock profits when my positions are moving with a trend. Generally i defined the sl and tp targets to my position but when any of my position is going to touch the tp target i remove the target and instantly set a trail stop and let it run with the trend, it has become a habit now and sometimes i make big profits when a big trend is hit

Well, I think it's important to lock in our profits if we use methods that we do not have clear instructions on how to close our trades (but, actually it's not a good system). However, on the other hand, we can wait for a good closing signal to maximize our profit. Hoever, if we need to get away from our screen, trailling stop will be a good answer that can maximize our profit. and I always use stop loss but stop limit I use only when the market is more stable as the time of news issuance of high impact, when market movement is very high then I use stop limit to secure my balance. I think this is a very helpful tool in NFP or FOMC moments

I always dont lock my profit but sometime i lock my profit when have more confidence about price movement otherwise i always set TP which is more secure for me . actually before so many time i lost win trade for this thinking its good to lock profit.

depending on how many points we get, when the points are much longer for something better in our key just cut off the loss so the bottom line is added to the decline. but if the point is still a little key I usually only 1 point is enough. and, I never locked my fit for my trade, my brother. to ensure my profit, I use trailing stop in my trade. I think this is a good choice for us because it can take the opportunity to lock our position in profit, and it's looking to maximize our profit. seems to be the best choice for traders. I think so.

The Lock profis is a very good system for traders I think. If you open trade and trade you get into profit then you can lock in profit it is very useful for traders because if the market is going back then you get your profit in that position really !! and it can be useful sometimes but not always you can trade and maybe to get 20 pips profit but if you lock it in 10 pips that is a problem even if you want it will be hard to do so its the best way for me to define it in classic way
