Yes If we closely watch bigger timeframe then trader can identify market trend. I always watch daily and 4H chart to identify market trend. I also use moving average for identify market trend.

finding a real trend is the main challenge for any traders ..but the main reason for losing money is doing repeated mistake again and again ..a wrong analysis or signal can destroy our strategy and trading mentality so we must wait for a real trend every time
