Spending time on chart depends on various factors like how market will take provide good signal, Free time availability, market news and forecast as well as depends on experience. Even, my time in front of forex are not fixed but In my beginning, forex days myself stay in front of charts for longtime and keep waiting for signal as well as do scalping side by side that will give me loss too. Nowadays, I had just look the chart in candlestick form and get an idea about pair movement..And set a pending order according to news or market situation with SL and TP. Question How much time in front of the table?
For starters there is still a lot of uncertainty to determine the appropriate system with it. So there are many traders who are still at the forefront of the agenda more than 8 hours a day. Trade is very tired.

there is no restriction that how much time you will stay in front of the chart. it depends on you how efficient you are. some time you may have to stay eight hours in front of chart or if you give two hours you can also do the same job that what you will get from eight hours.your efficiency
