In my opinion,I think it will depend on what kind trader you are?If you are a short term trader,then it will be OK for you to choose 5min TF,30min TF and 1H TF together,which you can get a short term trend.If you can trade be a Day trader,then it will be better for you to use 1H,4H and D1 together.

I think any trader have it's best trends i think it depends from their trading style,like scalpers example they can see the trend in the h1 and entry in m5 while in the same time the daily trader prefer to see the trend in h4 or daily.
