well its very possible to see the stop loose to calculate , but the pips u have to adjust as per your trading style, i trade with 3:1 ratio of stop loose and take profit, when i am riding the trade i put the stop loose as per the candle stick formation , and waiting for 20 pips first, and after getting the 20 pips i book my half lot and put the stop loose to my entry point, to gain and to protect my profit and put the take profit to other 20 pips, its very nice just try it, the best way to protect and gain more pips

Well its interesting as well as informative to study this line. some of the investors are using unique numbers for the sl and tp objectives and some use computations to set the objectives. i individually also use fibo most of enough a chance to determine the sl and tp objectives and i also sometimes use unique objectives when i have a while to invest on dealing. but the factor is its very essential to use these objectives in all our positions

I use a stop loss 1:2, but I do not know if that's good or not, because I think looking statements are very fast, but very difficult to make a profit, so I use a stop loss ratio greater, up to two-fold

i put my SL on the nearest support resistant and usually i set risk reward ratio as 1:2. so if my SL is 50 pips then i will set my TP at 100 pIPs. i use 1H and 4H time frame so my trade usually take more than one day to reach my TP or SL. i also use trailing stop to lock my profit. every trader have their own strategy with their SL and TP so we need to build our own and practice it.
