technical analysis i believe is the cream of the forex trading . without it it would be very hard to trade imaging scalping using fundamental analysis . its almost if not impossible . and technical analysis in a way encompass all the fundamentals there are and thus a sure method to trade

If you are tending to get in and get out the market with less than 2 trades per day, you should use technical analysis, but keep in mind that the distance from your entry point to your stoploss is not less than 100 point, as well as the distance from your entry point to your target should not less than 200 points. Otherwise, it is better for you to follow news to trade, which you can do more than 2 trades per day and possible to earn 50 - 100 points.

AUD/USD rose on Thursday in order to attempt a run at the 1.04 resistance area. The pair did manage to hold onto gains, but just barely. The candle formed was a shooting star, and is at the top of the recent range. In fact, it appears that we could be forming an ascending triangle currently, and this would signal real strength. The breaking above and daily close over the 1.04 line would give us the signal we need to see in order to believe the strength in this pair.Friday, 13 January 2012 06:46 GMT


The Dollar has been bid up quite handily over the last several months in an attempt to run for cover. The safety trade could continue, and this would almost certainly push this pair lower. Either way, we are waiting to see if the top of the triangle gets broken on a daily close to buy, or if we break the bottom line on a daily close to sell.

EUR/USD rose during the Thursday session as traders celebrated successful bond auctions in both Italy and Spain. However, the recent downtrend is certainly intact, and it is hard to think that it suddenly will give way based upon these two sales. The 1.30 level above is the start of significant resistance, and we are looking to sell weakness in that area if it appears. The candle does suggest some possible follow through over the next day or two, but we aren�t willing to won the Euro in general and there are simply far too many problems in that part of the world right now. l m selling rallies going forward.

I think traders need live and up dated technical analysis that is not possible on the forum but we can learn different strategies from the forum that may be helpful for our trading.

Majority of traders use technical analysis but the point need to keep in mind your technical analysis will not help you any more during news hours and you will have to follow fundamentals during news.
