However, it should also be noted that the price is still between 1.2408/1.2550 and 1.2140.

The Fibonacci retracement is valid only if price movement on daily basis is in between low and high of that day. There is a good relation between Fibo and Pivot Point. it is the orbit between three up levels, and three down levels. The three up levels call Resistance and the three down levels call Support. It is especially useful to short term; it is also can be used to breakout or rang. If Pivot point at 50% of yesterday Fibonacci means a good level in it.
