No, as a chartist, I have no problem with news because I just use chart for my analysis. If there is a big move after I made an analysis, then I get profit, it means that my analysis is right. But if I get loss, then my analysis is fail. If price going in my analysis direction at first, and then going reversal after the news, and I get loss, it is my mistake that not close my profit position.

I also did the same thing with you, I would first look for information on the news that will be released. because every high news release will usually provide a major impact on market movements. so sometimes it bothers me when there is movement in analyzing large enough due to the news release. so usually I see the news release to know when I should stop trading in order to avoid the news.
