Short term forex trading or Long term forex trading?

I like long term forex trading, I trade on 4h and daily chart. I want to do swing trading as it is easier than short term trading. In long term trading you don't have to sit in front of the terminal to view every movement of the market. Patience is required to do long term trading but once you get use to it, its very profitable than other types of trading.

but long term mein you can really control more and there are less chances of losing and you will have less pressure as well as easy to manage and it will be slow progress so you will have plenty of time to make decisions and analyse and if you do it quickly then you have to make quick decisions and and in hurry you can make decisions in hurry.

I am not agreed with your statement, short term trading will cause looses for the traders because the chances of being over traded are always there for the traders. I personally like long term trades and i am not in the favor of scalping.

I think long term trading is more preferable because in short term trading you have to take more tension and sit on the computer all the time. But if you are trading with long term trading you are relatively more relaxed and you need not to focus your attention on the trading all the time.

short term forex trading is bertter because then you can read the market trends better and avoid huge losses when the masrkets suddely reverse r change directions, in short term forex you know when the markets turn

But in short term trading more tension , more time needed to spend.
In long term trading one can spend around an hour and set the target after analysis then do other works. I think both have own advantage and disadvantages.

I like long term forex trading because it is not tiring, because I just open a trade and then leave it for a while. And when I come back and check my trade, then I close it if it is in profit, but if not, I leave it again and wait. It is easier than short term trading because you don't have to watch it move all the time.

I just can trade forex in part time, so I can not be a short time trader, but I always exit my trades soon and lost a lot of money. So I made a writen trading plan, and take it seriously, then I found I can control myself, I advise this method in some other thread also I think. Then I can make money this year.

In my opinion to sustain your self for long term in forex always invest small capital in forex trading and increased your capital gradually, so lot size is also make small to get profit, but forex always in profit.

well for me now long term trading is really working and I can not think of going back to short term trading so I can give you advice that you people can think of doing long term trading too. it will be easier and for me results are coming but we just have to be a little patient in long term trading.

One should choose depending on there character, style of trading, capital available and the time available for trading.
For the people like me who has less time to do trading, long term trading is good and i am doing that, but sometimes when time permits i do scalping also.
