short term and long term both are important in context of forex trading as you earn little profits but in long term trading you can get more profit and there is a less chance of loss in it, but for the long term trade you need more balance to stay in the trade or else you lose big time

In the long term investment the persons is less affected by short term volatility. the market all changes with the factors that keep changing in short term, So, a traders is want to involved in a long term investment or trading .
