Short term forex trading or Long term forex trading?

I think short term trade hi better hein. It is because we will not be risking lots of our capital then. We can easily close our trade when we have profit and even in loss, we will not lose huge amount. Though profits are better in long term trading, I think it is better to trade in short term basis first to be familiar with the trade.

i agree with you and i choose short term as my strategies because with this i can get profit with safe
no need longer time to wait for profit and of course it is so simple and easy to predict...
but we have to be careful for this strategies when we think that we need to double our volume to get big profit...we have to know what we do and the market condition

Both are profitable. But slightly long term trading is profitable. If you are part time trader then you better select short term trading whereas if you are professional trader, you better do long term trading. In part time job you cannot manage your time properly for long term trading. You cannot give your time and concentration properly. So just handle short term trading if you are part time worker. And if you think you are expert and can manage your time, money and focus on your work, you just go for long term trading. It will be extremely profitable.

Everyone sets his target according to his own strategy for me 10 pips daily are enough with 1 standard lot size.If i get 10 pips i close my terminal and do not trade more and when my equity will increase i'll increase my lot size to get more profit.

look you are using a very high risk strategy, you use high size of lots and just take a little profit, how much capital you use? are compatible with risk management and money management? and I hope you always be careful not to forget to use the SL,
short-term or long term the most important thing is always think about the risks to be faced and therefore risk management very important

i do not like to open position for long term, i have no big margin to hold floating minus...so i take scalping or short time and i think this is easy and simple to do, no need much time to get profit and also with just a little money, we can start to get profit...

Long term trading ke liye chota sa capital bi chalta hai. chota capital se bi hum Long term trading kar sakte hai, iske liye humko small lot se trading suro karna padegi aur strict money management karna bi jaroori hai.

all depends on the expertise and suitability of each trader

I do not think that long term trading require big balance with small amount you can also trade for the long term, but one condition is there that is you have to use low volume and always place the trade with the trend.

Most of us hear need quick money and for this naturally we choose to make short term trading.
But in short term trading i think there will be lot of stress due to requirement continuous monitor of your positions.
Whereas in Long term trading one can relax after setting up his trade and come back after the predefined time to see what happened to his trade.
