Short term forex trading or Long term forex trading?

you are right, but i think large margin is very needed by this strategies and how if the trader only have a little funds for it?i used scalping, intra day and also long term and i used them depended to the condition...

you are good trader friend, because you can do both for any strategies in there. i want to know how about your amount do you have? because i think to be long term trader we need a large capital.
i only used scalping in my strategy because i dont have enough money. the take profit target are too small and the lot size also..

in shot term market can be so quick that you have to make quick and instant decisions and margin or error is very less so in long term as we see there will be more time and money required and easy to make decision in longer term so I think long term is far more better

Both short term and long term trading have their own advantages and since different traders have different strategy and different trading styles , I would say both are good but long term traders make more money as compared to short term traders.

i also think like that. a long term trader need more capital than short term traders, because when we as long term trader, we need a large resilience of capital, this happen when we getting floating minus too much, so the resilience of capital is large too. the profit target and stop loss is very large, so i cant follow this strategy.

yeh to sahi hai k profit importnat hai but hum yehi baat kar rahe hain k profit kis tarah easily zyada profit liya ja sakta hai aur knosa in dono mein se behtat hai. you know both are good for diffirent kind of people but I like both but using long term nowadays as I think I can handle it easily.

Every system that gives us consistent profits is good.It doesn't matters either it is short term or long term.every trader should choose his own trading style according to his capital,strategy and money management.

I don't like long term trading because we have to wait for long to take profit. The world economic conditions are so much volatile and long term trading may not be so beneficial as compared to short term trading. I like to trade for short term as we get small profits daily to build our account gradually.

Well to be honest i don't use a sl.
I just do an in depth analysis and than open a trade.Which hits tp in 1-2 hrs and than i become free to enjoy.

may be its good analyses that your trade hit tp in 1-2 hrs. sl not depend on type of trader. trading short term ho ya long term ho sl use krna chahiye..
but its not batter to avoide sl. you should use sl it may be your maximum limit but use. there are many trader who lost their account due to only one reason dont using sl. once i am also.

Thats very nice.I am also a student and i want to earn via forex to make it my full time job so i am trying hard to learn it and one day i will be able to earn a good money consistently with forex trading.
