Short term forex trading or Long term forex trading?

if I have a large capital, I prefer to do long term trading, but at this time because I have a small capital, I prefer the short term trading. But scalping is not well, just do intraday trading on support and resistance.

i am a short time trader because my capital is small. Forex trading is a long term process. long term trading can make more profits but here one should have patience.

If you wish to trade long term, then you should be a good follower of fundamental analysis because this is when you will be able to know when a trend might be ending and another trend starting. You will also be able to detect short term trend and then find out when they will consolidate using technical analysis.

it is depend on trader,if you have huge money to invest you can do long term trade or if you have short money you can do short term trade in forex

By long term trading, you should be talking about leaving your trade to run for more than 2 days and with a target over 150 points. If your trade just targets 50 to 100 points and it ends within 24hrs, then that is a short term trade.

short term trading is good and it is being used on a daily basis by intra-day traders around the world.
long term trading is also good and it is being used on a daily basis by professional and expert traders.
so it is up to the trader which one he will use in his trading career.

If by short term trader you mean scalper then I will not agree with you. A trader with $50 can earn another $50 in two days if he trade well and follow the trend (consistent or ranging). To me that is good earning. You do not need to scalp to make good earning in forex trading.

I think its also have great movement when its go down. personally i dont trade gold and silver but watch both price which have great movement when uptrend and downtrend . so its really risky with low capital if we wish for long.

The commodities that exists in forex trading business like gold and silver best works in forex trading on a long term basis. If we set a short term target in it, our stop loss will be hit most of the time incurring losses for we traders.

short time trading or long term trading it's a rely on individual emotion as well as patient if you have much patient then you follow long term trade other wise you can take short term trading plan i think both trading are good if one person make a proper strategy

the long term trading is the not best for the small capital investor traders i think the profit in the short term trading is more because the market have change at any time..

yes i think actually like that. trading in a long term i think it same as swing trading.
and a swing trading is a good strategy for big capital because maybe the trader only make small target in a mothly.
