Short term forex trading or Long term forex trading?

I personally prefer the way trading using long term because I think it will be better than our short-term trading or scalping method that can make us lose the very short time,
so that we could lose in trading

if my trade, i use long term to trade with micro account...
usually i take profit 50 - 100 pips every one time transaction...

That is very true, Mate! Even if we are a good trader with lot of experiences time, we will face little difficulties and distraction to make any instant decision in short period of times and be held under high pressure and tension. That will makes us make any high potentially fail decision. So, for me, I prefer to trade with long term strategy since it gives me more times to think and count many consideration before take any decision.

yup!!i agree with you. .in long term trading the preasure is no too bigg,and we dont need to sit in front of the sreen in a long time..but,i choose the short term trading,because its efective and profitable for me,i always spare my time to watching the goes of my trading,so i will be ready if there a needs an actions!!goodluck!

yeah,,,,,, short term or long term forex trading mainly depends on the amount of capital that the trader will invest and the time that he/she can spend.
so first of all you have to budget your time and capital. and than you will have that options whether you go for long term or short term trading..........

4 hours of time for trading, in my opinion is quite a long time. I also am learning to be shorter in the front of the chart, but it is very difficult.
because when the position is open, then the feeling of being worried, and always wanted to observe the price. but long term trading is a peace of mind... you will have plenty of time to think and analyze the market and execute your trade at the perfect position... And it can saves you most of the time... but you need big capital to trade on long term.. because with low capital you cant make big money... But I like short term trading because it suits my personality...

the different between long term and short term in trading context depend on period from open position to close, if that period less than 1 day its categorized as short, but if more than 1 day it will categorize long term, what ever time frame their used.
