I think this is depends on the traders to traders, some traders love to open trade and close deals on daily basis(intraday) and some traders wait for the week or months for getting huge profits, I think trading is depends on our own trading choice and strategy.

in fact to me I personally think that is depend on your capital. If you have small capital is impossible to get long term trade i think. The long term trading is good. in fact to me I personally think that short term profit arise from short capital, if we look for long term trade then it has chance of big loss with big profit. In my case i do short term trading with low profit earning due to low capital. But in demo account i do short and long terms both and earn good profit from demo account.
