Yes, it's better to use major pairs first than any other pairs because it's lower risk to use major pairs. i think that a trader must be flexible and trade in a pair whichever he finds more pro fitting you for a long time confined myself in euro and usd trading only and it lead your to frustration and also gave me some losses.

I agree with your point, that's correct. There are foreign exchange traders that do not have favorite pair, they can trade foreign exchange with any of the pairs because they really understand how to trade with them successfully. my favorite pair is AUDUSD because it has low spread and i can trade on its news as it is released during the Asian session with low volatility so it is easy to earn some pips from it and close the position in short time, also i like EURJPY due to its volatility and low spread

well as for me i don't really think we have a favorite pair in trading forex all i can say is that we just have to try our best to understand the pair we are trading and by doing that we can always make the best profit out of the market thats what i really think and the more you trade the more you understand all pair
