Hedging & SL.

yes, but the problem here is finding the correct support and resistance, if you able to predict it correct 100% then you dont need such thing like hedging and SL to trade, you will always win

usually we do the hedging, because we are wrong at the time of market entry analysis ...
it is true we must determine the point of support and resistance, and it's hard to do after we do the hedging / locking ...
we have to wait until a stable market conditions, and perform re-analysis ... so that we can reduce our risk of loss ...

but it wont as easy as it looks, if we use direct hedge then we will probably locked in that trade and waiting for both position closed before opening another position, and will be even harder if we use double hedge

Most of the traders do not use stop loss and they think they will deal with looses by hedging their positions but when they hedge the positions they fail to deal with hedging and the result come in in the form of a MC.

Yes, i agree with you. Hedging should be very sensitive. We should have to know the procedure to break the hedging. Otherwise, its very advisable to use stop loss at correct position.

stop lost is like a must in every trader strategy, when the price goes to my direction then i set the SL at the entry point so when reversal happened i dont lose anything, and about hedging i prefer cross hedging over direct hedging, direct hedging is so plain that could make a double sword i think

For me i think its not easy to hedge if not experience ans still i an not good with this but always prefer to use sl which is more easy to me and i think all less experience specially newbie should use sl first and after getting experience they may use hedge.

Hedging and Stop Loss Strategy have their own advantages and disadvantages. I prefer to use Stop Loss than Hedging before it's easier to apply and implement. If we used Stop Loss Strategy, all we must know only how to place Stop Loss in the right position. Maybe it's simple to understand but it's not as simple as it looks. If we wanted to place where did the right time, we must know what method that we used in trading. If we used scalping method, many traders didn't like to use Stop Loss in this method but if you wanted to put Stop Loss with this method, I suggested to put it not more than 10 pips from your opened condition.

I am totally agree with you about SL because its only save us our account . its true sometime after hitting sl price come back previous place but its also true price never come back again that position for long time and it may destory our account easily . so i always agree to use SL in our trade all the time.

i am fully agree with you because hedging is almost critical for newbie and when it go big loss then its really will not good for them but if use SL and TP then its better because we are taking particular amount for risk but when our experience level grow then we can use hedging or cut loss but before that its really risky .

I agree with you,
master trader said that if you want to be able to sleep well, so always use SL every time you open a position.
and preferably from the beginning you create a system that integrates with SL.
