Hedging & SL.

Most of the traders do not use stop loss and they think they will deal with looses by hedging their positions but when they hedge the positions they fail to deal with hedging and the result come in in the form of a MC.

i am fully agree with you because hedging is almost critical for newbie and when it go big loss then its really will not good for them but if use SL and TP then its better because we are taking particular amount for risk but when our experience level grow then we can use hedging or cut loss but before that its really risky .

I am totally agree with you about SL because its only save us our account . its true sometime after hitting sl price come back previous place but its also true price never come back again that position for long time and it may destory our account easily . so i always agree to use SL in our trade all the time.

For me i think its not easy to hedge if not experience ans still i an not good with this but always prefer to use sl which is more easy to me and i think all less experience specially newbie should use sl first and after getting experience they may use hedge.

Stoploss should set at that point: if the market hit that point, that means the market conditions have been changed and the market is not our predict, we should exit our position and redo the analysis.

You still have to close both the trades at one time and the loss which is already there can not be recovered until complete reversals are there.Also I talked about hedging with stop loss to both the trades where one of them gets executed when the market trend is clear and moves in one direction.

Yes Hedging needs proper funds in the account to take care of reversals and hedging needs to be done cautiously and to be executed carefully otherwise the hedged position can go waste and can go into loss as well.Hedging can also be done with Stop Loss.

Hedging is a very good technique my friend but always remember you still need to do Hedging with Stop Loss to both the trades as if markets reverse both you trades will get executed leading to double loss on the same trade.Also you need to monitor those trades.

i still difficult to apply hedging strategy in my trade,
because sometime the range of position is too long so, in the end of hedge position, my all position is get floating minus. so i think, i must improve my skill in this technique.

Trailing stop loss s a very efficient tool specially when your trades are in profits and still markets are moving in same direction.Stop loss is still a very essential tool and it should be put to all the trades.Hedging is done only when there is a bad trade and to reduce and spread the loss.
