Hedging & SL.

There are several methods available to all forex traders to control the amount of losses that the could get. A few of them are Stop loss, hedging, trailing stop loss and even the take profit. The one i want us to analyse is the stop loss and hedging. Both of them are effective in their own ways. I start with the stop loss in most my trade but i prefer to use hedging. Hedging is just a few clicks away and when it is done, we start recovering some of our profits but the stop loss closes our trades immediately they are activated so there is no chance to make up for losses except in the next trade. Which is best for you?

hedging and stop loss strategy have their own advantages and disadvantages i prefer to use stop loss than hedging before its easier to apply and implement....

The hedging is good way to trades if you are not sure about the markets and want to enters a trades until the trend is clear whereas stop loss is usefuly when you want to minimizes your losses while trading really !!

In my opinion stop loss is the best way to cut losses instead of hedging. Some times hedging create problems for you and you close one trade for reversal and wait for some time but the price do not move according to your expectation. As a result your equity decreases gradually.

i still difficult to apply hedging strategy in my trade,
because sometime the range of position is too long so, in the end of hedge position, my all position is get floating minus. so i think, i must improve my skill in this technique.

Thank you very much for your thread, my friend. In forex trading always remains a lot ot risk and to control them, there are may in tools given. Now whenever i make a order, i only use some of them. That is stop loss and take profit

if we can control ourselves then we will get a great convenience bed so we'll get a satisfactory outcome and we should be able to compete with hard work

hedging can indeed be used to reduce the losses that could occur, but this technique is very risky to double damages if done by a beginner. due to this technique, a trader should not be easy to panic.

I was hedging pro but I still recommend to use a stop loss, as hedging does not guarantee you're always safe from the brunt of margin call, we must remain wise to risk the loss to more secure.

sorry I'm not a pro on this hedging system so I did not say much here because for me hedging is not responsible for the system

I have responded in a thing like this before and i don`t think i still remember same again, the fcat still remain that hedgin and stoploss are never the same thing and will never performs the same function, it is better to use stoploss, and make a trading balance once and for all.

Hedging with trade is good strategy for trader to make use in getting of profit. When trader use hedging then can benefit from moving in the two opposite direction in the market. If market not going in trending then hedging will make most profit for the trader.
