How many pips do you think is safe for SL ?

i think in short term trade you take on 30 to 50 pips for stop loss and when u have long term forex trading u have to 100 to 150 pips far for stop loss.
last year when i was trading. i had taken only 20 pipa for take profit or 20 pips for stop loss

stop loss may different by different trder. some use half of the take profit or some use double of take profit or some use manual. but I use double of take profit. this is safe for me.

Your trading stop loss will not safe for your trade if you not put your stop loss at right position,if you put stop loss at wrong position then it will hit every time,that why placement of stop loss is much more important in forex business..

100 pips I think is very good to put a stop loss that will be used, although in everyday life I never use a stop loss, but a lot of which suggests to me that a good use of stop loss limits are based on the support area and resistance. I think 100pip for laying SL, it's too far
I personally SL is only about 30-40pips in a single entry, I think it's just SL with 100pips suitable for traders of type swinger, not suitable for daytrading trader like me
If you 100pips SL, then at least you are targeting TP over 200pips, because a good MM has risk and reward ratio of 2: 1
