to put SL in my opinion depending on experience every trader himself, there is no 1:1 1:2 ........ so no guidelines for it .............. ......

I think we should not to set up the stop loss as a limited number of pips.we should to set it up by the proper market analysis.by depending on the market analysis it can be 20 pips or more than 40 pips .however in this case we should to focus on the risk management .

i perpetually place on trade with tp and sl, i place the stop loss isn't appropriate in support resistance, other then i preferred 10 pips, therefore as not subject sl, then worth reverses direction. i'm evaluating my trading skills to actually progress

There is no fixed number of pips that we can say it best for the stop loss settings that we will use in forex trading business, but the main thing remains that we use a 1 : 2 risk reward ratio all the time to trade.
