How many pips do you think is safe for SL ?

I myself think it all depends on the pair that we use in trade, for example such as the GBP-USD which has a large daily range. must use at least 35-40 pips for SL

Its all depend upon market situation and margin you have in your trading account.If you have large margin then if your signals goes wrong then there is time to recover from it.

You are right putting sl on long distances is just because we don't want to lose our money and we think that price will hit our tp rather than sl but that is a bad attitude if the trend is reversed don't keep your position open and close it and concentrate on your next trade.

I think 20 pips are a bit high for M15 chart because i don't think that trend on a 15 minute chart is strong enough to give us 20 pips. Can you tell that what strategy you use to trade on M15 chart and gain 20 pips per trade.

Yeah in scalping using sl is not good because price moves so rapidly that it might return. And scripts are Download-able from MetaEditor.Also use close script to close orders when there are requotes

Stop loss and take profit will vary from person to person and depend on our trade set up. Since i am not using stop loss in my trades i can not comment on much. but still i believe the stop loss should be placed by keeping in mind the support and resistance zones near to the price.

I want to always use the TP and SL, I use a low setting money management, I only have a small capital, and are usually encouraged to be greedy. very difficult to be disciplined, I several times violated trading rules, so some times it fails, I do not want to repeat the same mistakes, in order to succeed

The SL shall be decided by the traders according to what fit them best. Personally I use a 30 pip SL . I think that is the best thing working on my strategy . i wont want to get a lot of these pips to see in SL.

Different traders use different stop loss based on their targets , strategy and trading style and they place it accordingly.I like to put stop loss at minimum 20 pips for the small trade as well.
