How many pips do you think is safe for SL ?

hi members, i think if you make an entry when the price is just close to the support

or resistance then you have to set your stop loss at the point where the support

or resistance is not located above it or not below it you can say 20 pips or 15 pips more than that You set

The better thing is we have to stop the stop loss where
we have to have enough knowledge about the market.
If the stop loss approaches opening position then most of the opportunity is we will lose money.
we should always place a stop loss at 100 pips.

I agree with your opinion about stop loss is part of trading strategy, like when market is trend,
we can do buy order, and we can put stop loss at previous candle low or low day,
so when price down or reverse direction,
equity still can be protected and safe

Mere kheyal me 50 pips ka stop loss and take profit lagana chaiy ap ko apne capital ko dekhte huwe ap is se zeyada bhi laga sakte hain lekin mere kheyal me 50 points best hain yani agar ap 0.50 tak ka order lagate hain to ap ka account safe rehta hai.

I never put stop loss in terms of pips but usually
I stop loss after observing the support and resistance levels.
The forex market is so volatile that a tight stop loss like 10 or 20 pips can harm us and not give us a profit.
So always attach stop loss after observing the support and resistance levels.

yes i think you are right because i previously faced
such a clean connection. i just saw my position and did not put sl when it was thinking that i was infront of pc and by that time i lost net connection and it was newyork session and due to heavy market movement, i lost good amount of pips. so i think its always better to put sl first then observe the open position.

I think it all depends on how much you are able to lose and we have to stop the stop loss by checking the resistance and support levels,
we should not stop the stop loss with just the numbers. If I trade every day,
I will use stop loss as much as 50 and take 50 profit as well.
because I know the hat market is moving in the range of 50 to 150 range ..
and getting 50 pips is great for my trading
